Meet Teri

My journey into the insurance industry began unexpectedly in 2016. After my family's recent move to the area due to my husband's military service, I reached out to Long & Foster Insurance to make a policy change. To my surprise, not only was I able to make the adjustment, but I was also offered a job interview.

With no other job options in sight, I decided to take a chance and give it a shot. They told me if I got my license, the job was mine. After working as a nurse for 15 years, I transitioned into the insurance field bringing with me the caring and helpful nature inherent to nursing. Building relationships with my clients comes naturally to me, as I can connect with anyone through conversation.

Both at work and in my personal life, I uphold the principle of treating everyone with respect and equality, understanding that the kindness we extend often mirrors what we receive in return.

Family holds a significant place in my heart, and outside of work you’ll probably find me watching my two sons playing sports. I have an adventurous spirit, always seeking experiences and opportunities to assist both my community and those in need. Whether camping, boating, or simply enjoying the water, the outdoors is where I feel most alive.
